Ecclesiastes 7

1 Remedies against vanity are, a good name, 2 mortification, 7 patience, 11 wisdom. 23 The difficulty of wisdom.

 7:1 ¶ A [Good] name 8034 [is] better 2896 then precious 2896 ointment: 8081 x4480 and the day 3117 of death, 4194 then the day 3117 x4480 of ones birth. 3205 z8736

 7:2 ¶ It [is] better 2896 to goe y3212 z8800 x1980 to x413 the house 1004 of mourning, 60 then to goe y3212 z8800 x4480 x1980 to x413 the house 1004 of feasting: 4960 for 834 that x1931 [is] the end 5490 of all x3605 men, 120 and the liuing 2416 will lay 5414 z8799 [it] to x413 his heart. 3820

 7:3 Sorrow 3708 [is] better 2896 then laughter: 7814 x4480 for x3588 by the sadnesse 7455 of the countenance 6440 the heart 3820 is made better. 3190 z8799

 7:4 The heart 3820 of the wise 2450 [is] in the house 1004 of mourning: 60 but the heart 3820 of fooles 3684 [is] in the house 1004 of mirth. 8057

 7:5 It [is] better 2896 to heare 8085 z8800 the rebuke 1606 of the wise, 2450 then for a man 376 x4480 to heare 8085 z8802 the song 7892 of fooles. 3684

 7:6 For x3588 as the crackling 6963 of thornes 5518 vnder x8478 a pot, 5518 so x3651 [is] the laughter 7814 of the foole: 3684 this x2088 also x1571 [is] vanitie. 1892

 7:7 ¶ Surely x3588 oppression 6233 maketh a wise man 2450 mad: 1984 z8779 and a gift 4979 destroyeth 6 z8762 x853 the heart. 3820

 7:8 Better 2896 [is] the ende 319 of a thing 1697 then the beginning 7225 x4480 thereof: [and] the patient 750 in spirit 7307 [is] better 2896 then the proude 1362 x4480 in spirit. 7307

 7:11 ¶ Wisedome 2451 is good 2896 with x5973 an inheritance: 5159 and [by it] there is profite 3148 to them that see 7200 z8802 the sunne. 8121

 7:12 For x3588 wisedome 2451 [is] a defence, 6738 [and] money 3701 [is] a defence: 6738 but the excellencie 3504 of knowledge 1847 [is], that wisedome 2451 giueth life 2421 z8762 to them that haue 1167 it.

 7:13 Consider 7200 z8798 x853 the worke 4639 of God: 430 for x3588 who x4310 can 3201 z8799 make that straight, 8626 z8763 x853 which x834 hee hath made crooked? 5791 z8765

 7:14 In the day 3117 of prosperitie 2896 be x1961 ioyfull, 2896 but in the day 3117 of aduersitie 7451 consider: 7200 z8798 God 430 also x1571 hath set 6213 z8804 x853 the one x2088 ouer against 5980 the other, x2088 to x5921 the end 1700 that man 120 should find 4672 z8799 nothing 3972 x7945 x3808 after 310 him.

 7:15 x853 All x3605 things haue I seene 7200 z8804 in the dayes 3117 of my vanitie: 1892 there is 3426 a iust 6662 man that perisheth 6 z8802 in his righteousnes, 6664 and there is x3426 a wicked 7563 man that prolongeth 748 z8688 [his life] in his wickednes. 7451

 7:16 Be x1961 not x408 righteous 6662 ouer much, 7235 z8687 neither x408 make thy selfe ouer y3148 wise: 2449 z8691 x3148 why x4100 shouldest thou destroy y8074 z8709 thy selfe? x8074

 7:17 Be not x408 ouermuch 7235 z8687 wicked, 7561 z8799 neither x408 be x1961 thou foolish: 5530 why x4100 shouldest thou die 4191 z8799 before x3808 thy time? 6256

 7:18 It [is] good 2896 that x834 thou shouldest take holde 270 z8799 of this, x2088 yea also x1571 from this 2088 x4480 withdraw y3240 z8686 x5117 not x408 x853 thine hand: 3027 for x3588 hee that feareth 3373 God, 430 shall come foorth 3318 z8799 x853 of them all. x3605

 7:19 Wisedome 2451 strengtheneth 5810 z8799 the wise, 2450 more then ten 6235 x4480 mightie 7989 men which x834 are x1961 in the citie. 5892

 7:20 For x3588 [there is] not x369 a iust 6662 man 120 vpon earth, 776 that x834 doeth 6213 z8799 good, 2896 and sinneth 2398 z8799 not. x3808

 7:21 Also x1571 take 5414 z8799 no x408 heede 3820 vnto all x3605 words 1697 that x834 are spoken; 1696 z8762 lest x834 x3808 thou heare 8085 z8799 x853 thy seruant 5650 curse 7043 z8764 thee.

 7:22 For x3588 often times 6471 7227 also x1571 thine owne heart 3820 knoweth, 3045 z8804 that x834 thou thy selfe x859 likewise x1571 hast cursed 7043 z8765 others. 312

 7:23 ¶ All x3605 this 2090 haue I prooued 5254 z8765 by wisedome: 2451 I said, 559 z8804 I will be wise, 2449 z8799 but it x1931 [was] farre 7350 from x4480 me.

 7:24 That which is x4100 x7945 x1961 farre off, 7350 and exceeding deepe, 6013 who x4310 can finde it out? 4672 z8799

 7:25 I x589 applyed 5437 z8804 mine heart 3820 to know, 3045 z8800 and to search, 8446 z8800 and to seeke out 1245 z8763 wisdome, 2451 and the reason 2808 [of things], aud to know 3045 z8800 the wickednes 7562 of folly, 3689 euen of foolishnesse 5531 [and] madnesse. 1947

 7:26 And I x589 finde 4672 z8802 more bitter 4751 then death, 4194 x4480 x853 the woman 802 whose x834 x1931 heart 3820 is snares 4685 & nets, 2764 [and] her handes 3027 [as] bands: 612 who so pleaseth 2896 6440 God, 430 shall escape 4422 z8735 from x4480 her, but the sinner 2398 z8802 shall be taken 3920 z8735 by her.

 7:27 Behold, 7200 z8798 this x2088 haue I found 4672 z8804 (saith 559 z8804 the Preacher) 6953 [counting] one 259 by one 259 to finde out 4672 z8800 the account: 2808
