2 Corinthians 2

1 Having shewed the reason why he came not to them, 6 he requireth them to forgive and to comfort that excommunicated person, 10 even as himself also upon his true repentance had forgiven him: 12 declaring withal why he departeth from Troas to Macedonia, 14 and the happy success which God gave to his preaching in all places.

 2:1 ¶ But 1161 I determined 2919 z5656 this 5124 with my selfe, 1683 that I would y2064 z0 not 3361 come 2064 z5629 againe 3825 to 4314 you 5209 in 1722 heauinesse. 3077

 2:2 For 1063 if 1487 I 1473 make y3076 z0 you y5209 sorie, y3076 z5719 x2076 x5209 who y5101 x510 x2532 is x2076 hee y2076 z5748 then y2532 that maketh y2165 z0 mee y3165 glad, 2165 z5723 x3165 but 1508 the same which is made sorie 3076 z5746 by 1537 me. 1700

 2:3 And 2532 I wrote 1125 z5656 this 5124 same 846 vnto you, 5213 least 3363 when I came, 2064 z5631 I should haue 2192 z5725 sorrow 3077 from 575 them of whome 3739 I 3165 ought 1163 z5713 to reioyce, 5463 z5721 hauing confidence 3982 z5756 in 1909 you 5209 all, 3956 that 3754 my 1699 ioy 5479 is 2076 z5748 [the ioy] of you 5216 all. 3956

 2:4 For 1063 out of 1537 much 4183 affliction 2347 and 2532 anguish 4928 of heart, 2588 I wrote 1125 z5656 vnto you 5213 with 1223 many 4183 teares, 1144 not 3756 that 2443 you should bee grieued, 3076 z5686 but 235 that 2443 yee might knowe 1097 z5632 the x3588 loue 26 which 3739 I haue 2192 z5719 more abundantly 4056 vnto 1519 you. 5209

 2:5 But 1161 if x1487 any y1536 x5100 haue caused griefe, 3076 z5758 hee hath y3076 z0 not 3756 grieued 3076 z5758 mee, 1691 but 235 in y575 part: 3313 x575 that y3363 z0 x2443 I may y1912 z0 not y3363 x3361 ouercharge 1912 z5725 you 5209 all. 3956

 2:6 Sufficient 2425 to such a man 5108 is this 3778 punishment, 2009 which 3588 [was inflicted] of 5259 many. 4119

 2:7 So y5620 that x5620 contrarywise, 5121 yee 5209 ought rather 3123 to forgiue 5483 z5664 him, and 2532 comfort 3870 z5658 him, lest 3381 perhaps, y4458 such a one 5108 should be swallowed vp 2666 z5686 with ouermuch 4055 sorrow. 3077

 2:8 Wherefore 1352 I beseech 3870 z5719 you, 5209 that you would confirme 2964 z5658 [your] loue 26 towards 1519 him. 846

 2:9 For 1063 to 1519 this end 5124 also 2532 did I write, 1125 z5656 that 2443 I might know 1097 z5632 the x3588 proofe 1382 of you, 5216 whether 1487 ye be 2075 z5748 obedient 5255 in 1519 all things. 3956

 2:15 For 3754 wee are 2070 z5748 vnto God, 2316 a sweet sauour 2175 of Christ, 5547 in 1722 them that are saued, 4982 z5746 and 2532 in 1722 them that perish. 622 z5730

 2:16 To y3739 the one 3303 x3739 [wee are] the sauour 3744 of death 2288 vnto 1519 death; 2288 and 1161 to the other, 3739 the sauour 3744 of life 2222 vnto 1519 life: 2222 and 2532 who 5101 is sufficient 2425 for 4314 these things? 5023
